Kovahange Guesthouse & Accommodation

We offer you several opportunity within the tourism sector at Kovahange Safaris. We cater for guests with 4 ensuite rooms and 4 well equiped camping sites. Our facilities is surrounded with a farm-like atmosphere with lots of space to enjoy a cup of coffee or to just relax at the swimmingpool and read a book. The farm activities which includes hunting, recreational activities such as offroad trails, sundowners, walks and game viewing.

The Farm:

Game and cattle farm in an unequaled beautiful and scenic landscape. The farm is a family business already in its fourth generation (since 1908). It has an historic ambiance to it.
The Farm is situated 6 km south of Kalkfeld at the C33 and 280 km northwest of Windhoek, half way between the Etosha National Park and Swakopmund at the Atlantic coast, 1600m (5248 ft) above sea-level.

The area is hilly thorn bush savanna with granite hillocks and dry river beds. There are plenty of water holes to view game and also some rock paintings to discover from the ancient cultures dwelling these areas.
